Erika Christensen

 Erika Jane Christensen was born on August 19, 1982. She is an American actress, singer, and model. Her filmography includes the roles in Traffic (2000) and Swimfan (2002). She was awarded the MTV Movie Award in Breakthrough Female Performance and the Screen Actors Guild Award in Outstanding Performance by a Cast in an Motion Picture with her co-stars.



 



 In 2006, she appeared in the short-lived drama series Six Degrees that aired on ABC. From 2010 until the end of the series in 2015 Christensen played Julia Braverman-Graham on the NBC family drama show Parenthood. In 2014, she received the Gracie Award for her performance in the role. Christensen portrayed Betty Beaumontaine on ABC's short-lived crime drama series Wicked City.

She was the daughter of Bonnie Edelstein in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father was a Chilton Memorial Hospital pediatrician. She was raised in Wayne, New Jersey, and attended Wayne Valley High School, graduating in 1984.
