Wendi Mclendon

  American actor and comedian Wendi McLendon Covey (nee McLendon) was born on October 10 in 1969. Comedy and improv are her primary strengths. McLendon Covey was the character Beverly Goldberg, a family patriarch since 2013. Her name was on the ballot for two Critics' Choice Television Awards in the category of the Best actress.



 



 McLendon Covey is an Long Beach native. She had a variety of jobs following her graduation from high school. In 2000, she graduated with an education at California State University, Long Beach. Following graduation, McLendon-Covey enrolled in The Groundlings, an improvisational comedy group in Los Angeles. She remained as a member until the year 2009. McLendon Covey began her acting career by becoming an actor when she was still in the Groundlings. She was a part of the improvised series of Reno 911 called Deputy Clementine Johnson! (2003-2008, 2020-present). She also played the main character in the Lifetime comedy Lovespring International (2006). McLendon Covey was an integral part of the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement, 2010-2013.
